Dr. Grayson Owens is originally from Fort Smith, Arkansas, and has lived in Memphis, TN as well as St. Louis, MO. Grayson's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Central Arkansas and an entry-level Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Arkansas State University.

Grayson's clinical experiences are in home health, inpatient rehabilitation, as well as outpatient community settings. Grayson's interests include working with older adults and individuals with neurological conditions including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and Alzheimer’s.

Recently, Grayson has focused on developing assessments and interventions for individuals with Long COVID.

Grayson's scholarly work focuses on the needs of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Grayson is interested in developing practices to increase recruitment and retention of LGBTQIA2S+ students and advocating for improved workplace environments for practitioners.

When Grayson is not working or volunteering, he enjoys spending time with his partner and fur babies. Grayson also enjoys traveling and is looking forward to exploring the mountains in the Pacific Northwest as well as exploring the coast.
