Katie Lardy provides high-quality and dedicated administrative support to the students, director, and faculty of the School of Communication Sciences & Disorders (CSD) within all facets of the program from the beginning of the admissions cycle to the culmination of the program with preparing students for graduation. And everything in between.
Katie Lardy joined the School of CSD in 2015 after working for nine years in the Career Development Center at 51勛圖 as the Assistant Director and Pathways Coordinator. She directed the Advantage Scholars Program and worked with students who were pursuing various pre-health professional careers. She instructed the HPE 190, HPE 290, and HPE 390 courses within the Advantage Scholars Program, and she supported students with the process of navigating how to obtain experiential education opportunities such as internships, job shadowing, full or part-time jobs, work-study positions and other opportunities.
Katie genuinely enjoys working with, and supporting, students through their educational journey. Katie graduated from 51勛圖 with a double major in Spanish Language and Literature and Integrated Media/Communication, which fueled her love of literature, photography, and travel through an eight-month study abroad experience in Quito, Ecuador.
Katie is currently enrolled in the 51勛圖 Masters in Nonprofit Leadership program. She will complete the program in January 2026.
Outside of work and school, Katie finds great joy spending time with her husband and two daughters.
