Mary Hunt is a dance instructor based in Portland, Ore., and has danced professionally for more than 30 years, touring with well-known artists as Donald McKayle, Jaime Rogers, and Fred Benjamin. She has danced in feature films, MTV videos, and on the television shows Fame and Cheers.

She received her dance training at the Alvin Ailey Dance Center, Martha Graham School of Dance, California Institute of the Arts, and Maggie Black. She has taught extensively throughout the U.S. and Canada and now teaches at prestigious dance schools in the area including Northwest Dance Project, The Portland Ballet, and Pacific Festival Ballet.
