51³Ô¹Ï staff are invited to join their staff colleagues at the 2025 Boxer Field Day, formerly known as the All-Staff Conference, on Tuesday, June 3 on the Forest Grove Campus. The Staff Senate truly appreciates all that you invest in our students and we want to take this day to thank you for your service, intentionality, and care. More to come in the spring with registration and schedule information.

Commencement isn't possible without a great event staff team! Over 50 individuals are needed to greet guests, assist with student line-up, drive a golf cart, and countless other ways at both the morning (approx. 7-11 a.m.) and afternoon (approx. 11:30-3:30 p.m.) ceremonies on Saturday, May 17. Sign up to work a four- or eight-hour shift and earn floating holiday hours (salary/exempt employees only) or hourly staff are paid for hours worked but please make arrangements with your supervisor first. Also, enjoy snacks, beverages, and pizza in the event staff lounge.

51³Ô¹Ï offers congratulations to faculty members who were granted indefinite tenure in Spring 2025. The Board of Trustees approved tenure for the following faculty members, upon review and recommendation from the University Personnel Committee, the provost and the president.

Effective May 1, 2025, Facilities Engineering will be implementing a new chargeback policy for work requests involving the assembly and installation of items not assembled/installed by the vendor at the time of purchase.
