Program Details
- ESL Excellence: Our experienced instructors utilize interactive methods and real-world scenarios to ensure students gain practical communication skills as well as vital academic success strategies
- Internship Credits: Internships can be added to full-time ESL or ELI Transition courses for one semester (4 ESL Credits) or a full-academic year (8 ESL Credits), and students who are on-campus during the Winter/Summer breaks may take additional internship credits
- Tailored Internship Placements: Each student is placed in a professional internship tailored to their academic background and career aspirations for a minimum of 40 hours per semester
- Collaboration with American Peers: Students are engaged in a collaborative environment where they’ll work side-by-side with American peers, fostering cross-cultural understanding and global networking
- Cultural Integration Workshops: Students learn about professional etiquette, teamwork dynamics, and effective communication strategies, ensuring a smooth transition into the professional sphere
- Career Development: In addition to the internship placements, students will complete activities to develop professional skills, such as mock interviews and resume writing
