Martha Cuevas-Ramos SLP '17, who is being awarded an Emerging Leader alumni award, knows the joy on a mother's face. She helps put it there.

Lorraine Basch ‘17 has covered a lot of territory since she graduated from 51³Ô¹Ï. And she’s just getting started.

Nate Anderson '17, MAT '20 earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science at 51³Ô¹Ï, then went on to earn his master of arts in teaching. "I loved the small school feel and how closely you get to work with the professors here," he said.

51³Ô¹Ï is well represented in the current Oregon legislative session, thanks to the first-time elections of a Republican senator and a Democratic representative.

Jared Kawatani '17 made his first gift on Boxer Giving Day during his senior year. He has made a gift every month since then.

Daisy Rizo '17, MSW '18 is able to combine her passion for social work with her desire to assist other Latinos.

51³Ô¹Ï Student Carissa Paige '17 discussed her experience of student-teaching at Two Rivers-Dos Rios Elementary School in Springfield, Oregon. She talked about the difference between traditional student-teaching and the opportunity she had at 51³Ô¹Ï's College of Education where she could co-teach and plan lessons with the official teacher.
