Thank you to everyone who has already joined the 51³Ô¹Ï Subject Matter Expert Directory. In October, 18 faculty and staff members have agreed to help broaden the reach of Pacific in the media by sharing their expertise with local, regional and national media.

It’s not too late to add your knowledge and experience to the directory.

Subject Matter Experts are faculty and staff members who have a wide breadth of knowledge on a topic or field, and are willing to use their expertise to provide trustworthy information to media members for a story.

While the media reaches out to Pacific to find a Subject Matter Expert, we also proactively offer experts with knowledge on a current event or topic in the news.

Subject Matter Experts are welcome on any topic, but we are specifically interested in experts willing to speak on the following topics:

• Healthcare (general topics & specific to your field)
• The environment and climate change
• Education (both K-12 and higher education)
• Social Media
• Artificial Intelligence
• Mental Health (child, youth and adult)
• Economic Issues (including tariffs)
• Topics relevant to local, regional and national government
