Children's Books to Donate?
Do you have any unused children’s books laying around? If so, please consider donating them to the CKI club's annual book drive, benefiting children and families of the Western Farm Worker’s Association.
Each year, CKI students collect children’s books to be donated to WFWA through the NHOH Giving Tree, allowing each participating child to receive a book alongside the gifts from their registry.
This effort is aimed at promoting lifelong learning by improving access to educational materials. Literacy and reading comprehension is a crucial foundation to a child’s development and academic success - your donation can promote the act of reading and thus, learning!
Please consider joining us in this cause by donating children’s books to the 51Թ CKI club. We are accepting book donations for grades Pre-K through 12th grade with a particularly high need for Spanish-language literature.
Reach out to CKI Volunteer Outreach Coordinator, Brook-Lynn Haa at haa8960@pacificu.edu to coordinate book donations or with questions.
