Coming Soon- National Hazing Prevention Week
National Hazing Prevention Week: September 22–26
National Hazing Prevention Week is an important time for our campus community to come together to learn, reflect, and take action to prevent hazing in all forms. Show your support by picking up a Hazing Prevention sticker or button on Tuesday, September 23, at the UC table. Expand your participation in this important conversation by checking out the awareness resources available via the Hazing Prevention Network .
In-person hazing prevention training is available for student groups, offices, and programs. To request a session, contact the Office of Student Conduct by emailing studentconduct@pacificu.edu. Training presentation slides can be viewed . The training provides practical strategies to recognize, prevent, and report hazing, while promoting positive traditions that strengthen belonging and respect. Training for staff, faculty and students has been occurring and will continue to occur throughout the Fall semester.
To better understand our campus policies and the campus’ response to hazing, please review the University’s Hazing Policy, the federal Stop Campus Hazing Act, and other helpful information and resources on the University’s Hazing Prevention webpage.
By working together, we can end hazing and create a culture that celebrates leadership, teamwork, and inclusion without harm.
