Federal food aid ends Saturday – let's step up together
This Saturday, November 1, federal food assistance programs including SNAP and WIC will lose funding due to the ongoing government shutdown. Nearly 42 million Americans – including many in our Pacific family – will lose access to these critical benefits. The reality is that many Pacific students and their families are facing an immediate crisis.
Here's how you can make a difference. Our campus food pantries – the Boxer Food Share in Forest Grove and the Hillsboro Campus Food Pantry – are ramping up efforts to help fill the gap for our students as federal benefits disappear.
 will help:
- Stock our pantry shelves with nutritious food
- Provide emergency grants for students experiencing unexpected financial challenges – from car repairs to job loss and family emergencies.
