You're Invited to the CETCI Pedagogy Speed Date!
The Center for Educational Technology and Curricular Innovation (CETCI) invites you to an exciting annual event--the 2025 Pedagogy Speed Date! We will be holding the Speed Date on in the Tran Library on the Forest Grove campus.
The Speed Date is a fun and fast-paced event where faculty innovators share micro-presentations of techniques and strategies they have used in their teaching. Here’s how it works:
Faculty presenters are stationed around the room, and event attendees (Speed Daters) gather in small groups at each station.
Each faculty presenter gives a brief presentation on a project or approach they have used to enhance teaching and learning in their courses. Speed Daters rotate from station to station after each micro-presentation.
This year's faculty presenters are:
- Dana Bates (Athletic Training) Gamification to Support Interactive and Personalized Learning Experiences
- Tabitha Galindo (Physical Therapy) Neuro-Inclusive Teaching Practices
- Mark Szymanski (School of Learning and Teaching) Simple Strategies for Integrating Mindfulness Practices in the Classroom
- Aimee Wodda (Criminal Justice, Law & Society) Digital Pedagogy in the Student-Centered Classroom
Each year the Speed Date is a highlight of CETCI’s Fall programming, and we are very excited to bring this event back again!
We hope you will join us! today!
