We are excited to share that Angeleca Sackett came to Pacific in early May as our Catering Manager but after a search as far as the Rocky Mountain region, has been hired as our Dining General Manager.
The Division of Undergraduate Studies is hosting Sarah Rose Cavanagh, author of Mind Over Monsters: Supporting Youth Mental Health with Compassionate Challenge, on the Forest Grove campus on Wednesday, September 17. There will be multiple in-person and zoom opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage with Dr. Cavanagh and her work on "compassionate challenge" in the college classroom. On the Transforming Our Pacific webpage, find proposed models for restructuring the units within each academic division, supplemental documents, and an opportunity to provide feedback. Additionally, a document outlining the work of all seven committees has been provided, highlighting what the committees have learned, next steps, resources, and work to date. Lastly, the final Restructuring Update and Feedback Session will be held on Wednesday, September 3, from 4 - 6 p.m. on Zoom only.
