Outdoor Pursuits is 51³Ô¹Ï’s home for outdoor recreation. Student-driven and always evolving, the Outdoor Pursuits offers a variety of trips, rentals, and courses for Pacific students, alumni, staff & faculty, as well as members of the community.

Join Outdoor Pursuits for a day of well-balanced fun on a standup paddleboard! At nearby Hagg Lake, you are sure to enjoy the sun on your face and the sound of water lapping at your board.
Have you ever stared up at the stars and wished you could point out constellations? Join Physics Professor, Todd Duncan, and Outdoor Pursuits staff stargazing in the Boxer Gardens! And if you start to get chilly, we'll have a fire and s'mores out by the Environmental House.
Grab a paddle, a PFD (personal flotation device), and get ready for some serious fun paddling across the open water. Instructors well-versed in paddle technique and boat etiquette will lead you through a day of exploration and non-stop fun. No need to own a kayak, all gear, transportation, and instruction is provided when heading out to sea!
