Announcements
Join the event staff team at the Sat, May 17 Commencement to celebrate and support our graduates! Over 50 individuals are needed to greet guests, assist with student line-up, drive golf carts, and more. Sign up to work a four- or eight-hour shift and earn floating holiday hours (salary/exempt employees only) or hourly staff are paid for hours worked (but make arrangements with your supervisor first).
The Staff Senate Staff Engagement (formerly Idea) Committee is excited to host a Staff & Faculty Bowling Night from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at Rainbow Lanes in Forest Grove. Pull together a team and reserve a lane or register yourself and we'll add you to a team. The game, shoes, pizza, and prizes are covered by the Staff Senate. Advanced registration is required.
51³Ô¹Ï staff are invited to join their staff colleagues at the 2025 Boxer Field Day, formerly known as the All-Staff Conference, on Tuesday, June 3 on the Forest Grove Campus. Inspiring team-oriented and individual activities that are both active and non-active are in the works along with the opportunity to socialize and make new connections. More to come in the spring with registration and schedule information.
We will be publishing weekly E-news articles covering a variety of Risk Management and general safety topics in an effort to continue 51³Ô¹Ï's great safety track record. The campus bulletin boards will also have fresh updates, posters and helpful tips. As we head into the winter weather conditions, let's take a moment to refresh our focus on key safety practices to ensure the safety of all.
Whether you have questions, need guidance, or just want to talk, open "office" hours are available Tuesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. each week.
Upcoming Events

All are welcome to join the Alumni Association for this meaningful time of reflection. Held quarterly, the Remembrance Ceremony honors our alumni and friends who have recently died.
Please join us on the Hillsboro campus will take place on ​May 2nd in the Atrium of B​uild​ing 2. Drop in anytime between 11:30​am ​to 1pm.
Stop by and recharge for finals! There will be food, giveaways, crafts, therapy dogs and a llama!
